Hello from San Francisco!

I’m a lifelong musician and songwriter who’s musical journey began with piano and drum lessons which over time evolved into electronic synthesizers and percussion.

I moved from Michigan to the Haight Ashbury in 1995 and founded Virtual Recordings in 1998.

The ‘Haight Street Beat’ podcast celebrates the past, present, and future of San Francisco while the ‘Digital Dialectic’ podcast explores how artists in the creator economy can utilize the latest digital tools (including AI) to create, collaborate, publish, and profit from the fruits of their creative passions and labor.

Playing the piano is one of my primary paths to inner-peace and my ‘Patrick’s Piano’ podcast is a virtual vault documenting the many melodies I’ve written over the years.

I look forward to sharing an artist’s perspective of life in one of the most beautiful cities in the world while showcasing this special place that gives people more degrees of freedom to be their most authentic and artistic selves, than anywhere else.
