Bay to Breakers - Party in the Panhandle

Hello From San Francisco,

Bay to Breakers is one of those ‘only in San Francisco’ events. It begins as a footrace on Howard Street near the bay and makes its way westward all the way to the ocean passing through the Haight Ashbury and Golden Gate Park along the way.

But Bay to Breakers isn’t your typical race. Costumes are encouraged and the more outrageous the costume, the better. San Franciscans LOVE a dress-up party, and Bay to Breakers is the perfect opportunity to get together with your friends and join the cross-town party walking or running at whichever pace works best for you.

This video features several parties that were taking place at once in the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park which is only two blocks away from Haight Street.
